We visited one evening while on holiday in Sorrento it’s in a great spot just off the main square, we couldn’t eat in the terrace because it doesn’t open until 8 but it didn’t actually matter, the restaurant is lovely inside the tiled floors are beautiful the service was good and our waiter (Matt Lucas’s twin) was hilarious my friend said it was the best meal she had had on our whole 10 day holiday so you can see how good the food was as well as it’s difficult to get a bad meal in Italy. Desserts were also amazing and the price was reasonable especially for Capri.

Terrible dining experience, disgusting staff

Had a terrible experience dining here. The Manager was rude and was yelling at us. Food was 1/10 and came out cold and was inedible. Manager would not refund us. Service fee €5 euro per person if you don’t order a main, would say this is the worse place to eat in Capri

Good food - Bad service

We came here for lunch while in capri, the prices although high were not too expensive compared to other places near by and the food itself was actually very good, so that’s not why I’m giving it this rating. I’m rating it at 2 stars purely because of the service. My family is from LA and we have never before seen service this rude. The waiters themselves were excellent and I have no complaints there. The boss lady sitting watching everyone was inexcusably rude to my whole family. She would scream at us for things such as not having plastic water bottles at the table or not bringing in outside food. These are perfectly valid things for a restaurant to enforce although the way she raised her voice and spoke down to us was disgusting. In any restaurant, especially a nicer one like this was trying to be, should have came up to our table and explained to us respectfully with a calm voice rather than yelling at a father of a family as if they are children misbehaving in her classroom. In addition to this, we ordered an extra pizza to go, we asked for a box and the waiter was about to give it to us when the lady don’t him not go give us the box and instead to fold it up and give it to us. So he did, he got a brown bag and tinfoil and mashed up our untouched pizza onto itself making it very unappetizing. Personally we would rather spend our money at other places.
