The name "scalinatella" was inspired by the numerous steps and twisting flights of stairs that between the different levels of the hotel, which begin at street level and descend along the cliffside toward the sea in a dramatic series of terraces.

The most beautiful rooms in Scalinatella are those which boast their own private terrace facing the Bay of Marina Piccola, where you can settle in and make yourself at home in the relaxing silence of your temporary island home. All the terraces have southern exposure, so you can enjoy basking in the sun throughout the day, with soft island breezes to cool you. Or you can choose to relax poolside at one of the two pools: one on the upper terrace with a view, and the second, smaller pool on a lower terrace with more privacy.

Both pools have a restaurant and snack bar with daily menus which change according to what is fresh and in season.
