La Terrazza di Lucullo

This was fine dining at its best. The only downside was that we couldn’t enjoy the fabulous view on the terrace during dinner as it was a rainy evening. The food was top-notch. Very tasteful, well presented and perfect in each aspect. Good service. Fine dining obviously comes with a high price tag (certainly on the Isle of Capri), but if you have something to celebrate or just want to have a fabulous treat, don’t hesitate to visit this restaurant.

This is a restaurant full of itself and its overblown “reputation”. It was such a bad experience I had to come back to my hotel and post this review. My daughter can’t eat dairy, so waitress assured us she would replace mashed potatoes with vegetables. My son in law ordered a type of fish and after waiting 45 minutes got the wrong fish dish. We waited another half hour snd his fish was delivered raw, un eatable. The waitress delivered my daughter’s dish with oven frites. The bill came, no deduction for extremely poor service, raw fish, and charged $35.00 for oven fries. Never asked her if she wanted them and just changed order from vegetables to oven potatoes.I have never seen more useless waiters, poorly delivered service for exhorbitant prices. Don’t waste $50.00 taxi costs and your time here. There are too many excellent restaurants in Capri!
